Happy Thursday! I hope you guys have been enjoying the holiday content because I am back with yet another holiday-themed post. As soon as December hits I have the indescribable urge to bake. Now, this is unusual for me as I would say I am a great cook but baking not really my thing. Cooking you can be far more creative and adventurous, where baking has to be very accurate and meticulous. So, I have put together a list of some easy and fun holiday treats to try and enjoy!
A sweet take on a favourite treat! Who doesn’t love a movie night with a big bowl of popcorn? I know I do! So, why not give it a little spunk with this awesome recipe.
Mmm, so much goodness all wrapped up in one sweet treat! Who needs a hot chocolate and a cookie when you can get everything all in one. This easy cookie recipe will be your new holiday go-to.
When I first tried this recipe I’ll be honest I didn’t have high hopes. Saltines in a dessert? I was skeptical! But, do not sleep on this recipe it is absolutely delicious and super easy.
Cute and delicious sounds like the perfect combo for a holiday treat. These are a spin on a classic peanut butter cookie. Decorate them up with sprinkles and frosting. Of course, do not forget about the kiss in the centre! This recipe will quickly become a holiday baking tradition I just know it!
I love Christmas bark recipes because you can really put whatever you want/have into it. I thought this one was fun as it has the chocolaty aspect we all love but also has a peppermint twist. I am sure it will be a crowd-pleaser so make extra for yourself. Check it out here!
Ice cream and cake is there anything better? Throw in a little holiday spin and it’s HEAVEN! This delicious dessert is easy and packs a punch of flavour. If you love peppermint as much as I do you have to try out this recipe!
These are definitely my kind of snowballs! These little gems are another spin on a classic recipe. Instead of doing the normal peanut butter balls switch out the regular chocolate for white chocolate. Throw some red and green sprinkles on top and you have a holiday treat everyone will love!
These gave me a chuckle and I couldn’t help adding this recipe to the list. An easy treat that is delicious and bound to put a smile on someone’s face. Check the recipe out here from Life is Sweet.
Truffles don’t have to be time-consuming and difficult. This recipe is perfect for the amateur truffle makers (ME). Being easy doesn’t take away from the delicious factor either. These are the perfect bite-sized dessert to put out after Christmas dinner!
Ending this post off with an amazing classic! This recipe will be the cherry on top of your holiday celebrations. It’s the perfect rich dessert that we all crave over the holidays.
